Mitsubishi Chemical's 300000 ton/year polypropylene plant was put into operation in September.
a manager of Mitsubishi Chemical Company said on June 30 that the company's new 300000 ton/year polypropylene (PP) plant, a 2Kn polypropylene (PP) plant produced by StarTech, located in Kajima, Japan, is scheduled to be put into operation in September this year
it is said that at present, the device is ready. After a period of test and operation, commercial production may begin in early September. A new 150000 T/a olefin conversion unit (OCU) near the PP unit has also been completed at the beginning of this year and is expected to be put into operation in September
the company is currently reassessing the possibility of increasing outsourcing propylene resources, because once the PP plant runs at full capacity, it will face a shortage of raw materials
